*Thoughts*

My little Alyssa was 6 weeks old yesterday and attended her first birthday party; Miss Jacelyn turned one yesterday! We had a wonderful time at Jacelyns birthday party; I got to see some old friends and it was so much fun to see their kids as well. It's nice to reconnect with those old friends every now and then. I feel so blessed in this life to have such a sweet little healthy baby girl and a wonderful family. Alyssa couldn't have better grandparents; who simply adore her~ Poppy Gary and Granny Anna live in Frankfort so they don't get to see her as much; we miss them so much! They are too great! Mamaw and Pa Coffey visit daily since they live literally 5 seconds away; they cant get enough!!! We had Alyssa's pictures done at 3 weeks old by Lisa at ellephotography located in Berea. We got them back yesterday and I'm so pleased but so confused on what to get...they turned out amazingly well. Alyssa has officially learned how to cry; I experience this every morning when I'm trying to make her bottle. She is now sleeping with her momma in the "big bed." She sleeps wonderfully, waking about every four hours to eat and eats about every 3 hours throughout the day. She is now smiling when you talk to her; simply melts my heart even though she smiles a lot more at her stinky daddy! lol She's beginning to stare at different things, usually the ceiling fan or our wedding picture on the wall, especially when she eats. I enjoy every single minute of her and couldn't imagine life without her, I wonder what josh and I did before she came into our lives~! Most people say they use to have a life; I believe we didn't have one until now. :) Alyssa is scheduled for her two month checkup on Dec. 2, and that means "shots." ehhh I'm nervous for her and hoping the visit goes well. She's still taking 4 ozs at a time, but gets hungry quicker...then I try to give her 4.5 ozs...she will not take it all. So we stick with what she knows for now! I look forward to each and everyday with my little love bug; and cant wait to experience each and every milestone!
