Ok, so Alyssa is doing so much new stuff now! She's actually picking things up if she can with those tiny hands, putting everything and anything in her mouth, following you as you walk by with a sweet little smile, recognizing voices, blowing spit bubbles, cooing and saying "ohhhhh" all the time! These new little things are too sweet! She also wants to sit straight up, no more laying down like a sweet little newborn! She's getting so big way too fast! She loves sitting and watching television, but of course she has to sit straight up or she's not happy! She smiles ALL the time, every morning when she wakes up, most of the time all you have to do is look at her or say "good morning baby girl," then it's on...playtime from there after a bottle of course! So sweet & I'm loving every minute of it!

3 Month Check Up :)

Proud to say, Alyssa is still growing strong & healthy as well as developing properly! She is now 11 lbs and 3 ozs, 22 1/2 inches long! She's petite like her Momma! She is now taking a whole 5 ozs every 3 hours and Thank You Lord, Alyssa is sleeping through the night and has been since about 2 months! She is the best little baby, always smiling and happy. She hardly ever sheds a tear, loves to be talked to and absolutely loves bath time! The Lord really blessed us and I'm so thankful. She's starting to pull forward now, scares momma to death! She's trying so hard to say "I Good," and almost does as well as cooing and laughing out loud. She has found her hands and tries to eat them all the time! She is doing so many new things, It is unbelievable! She loves to watch t.v. with her daddy, mostly ball games of course. Dr. says everything is looking GREAT and we go back in Feb for more of those old stinking shots! Boohoo!
First Christmas 2009
Well, I must say that it was wonderful having our first Christmas as a family! Of course Alyssa was toooo small to understand but it was GREAT! Although we traveled most of the holiday weekend, we really enjoyed seeing family that we hadn't in a while, spending quality time with those whom are close but we don't get to see that often, and most of all celebrating the Birth of Christ! Alyssa was passed from one to another as usual, after arriving home late Sunday evening I do believe we all three passed out! Alyssa got so much, toys, clothes, books, and much more, we are so grateful for all that she got. Although when looking through it all and dreading putting it away, I realized that we are so blessed in this life with the simple things, sometimes I tend to pass those up. We attended six Christmases altogether, yeah...but it was Nice. If only our little angels could remember their First Christmas, that would be so sweet! Alyssa slept through most of the visits we made, but I can totally understand why! Just kidding! Alyssa also managed to find her hands during the holiday, we were at Granny n Poppy's in Frankfort and she kept putting her little tiny hands up in front of her face, it took a while to figure out what she was doing but soon we realized she was finding her hands. It was like, what are these things and what do I do with them. haha All in all we really enjoyed ourselves and look forward to many more Christmases as a Happy Healthy Family!
